First Event at La Rumba

Eight WNC Boomers, Eastside, enjoyed a delicous lunch at La Rumba Resturant on July 28, 2025. Starting at 1 pm, lunch and conversation lasted to nearly 3 pm. Topics discussed included home towns, children and grandchildren, and ideas on where to hold the next event. Potluck using an apartment complex public meeting room with a kitchen was popular as well as a destination trip to the Arboretum. It was stressed that there is no event committee and members are encouraged to announce their own event as they wish. All events will be supported by the website interface to keep details up to date.
