I'm 71, long divorced, retired for 5 years. I'm a long time vegan. I have two out of state daughters, and 4 grand kids. I work 2 days weekly at an independent bookstore in Black Mountain. I sold my home 2 years ago and now rent a small place in Swannanoa, shared with a sweet cat companion. I really enjoy movies, gardening, reading, eating out, Kirtan, drum circle, thrifting, warm ocean water. I also love being out in nature, walks or easy hikes, or just sitting on my porch with a glass of wine.

My husband and I moved here from Atlanta and built our retirement home in Fairview. I am a widow and lost Jonathan to brain cancer before we finished our home. My adult daughter lives here now as well. I have 2 cats adopted during covid. Watching Nature, reading books, movies, spiritual movement and meditation, new restaurants and delicious cuisine, the ocean and beaches, and front porch sitting! I have front porch parties and enjoy entertaining.
