It is with great sadness that I let all members know that Patrice Olivier-Wilson has passed away. She was one of the original members and the person who developed and maintained this website. Unfortunately to my knowledge, she didn't give anyone else the information needed to maintain the website. So I expect a time will come when it is no longer available to us. 

Those of us who were part of the Fairview Walking Group have continued to meet regularly. We have decided to focus on organizing and increasing our membership locally. Those of you in other communities may want to reach out to each other to do the same. 

Please take a moment to remember Patrice and send gratitude for her efforts to unite us. Her family and friends are in our hearts and prayers.

To better aid the information updates on this site, we have added a maillist. Only folks who sign up for the list can receive the maillist messages.

This site is new but basic security should be considered. Anyone can post an event, so be sure to check if the organizer is a member. We want only FREE events and not events created by folks trying to market their companies. Just take a moment to check it out, and if in doubt, send an email to biz@biz-comm.com so we can check it out.

There is no central event committee at this time. Events are membership driven. Create an event, keep in touch with those who reach out. If you need to cancel an event, let us know so it can be removed.
